Job summary

An educational support organization is seeking an Online American Sign Language (ASL) + Humanities/Writing/Math Tutor. This remote position allows tutors to work from any location with reliable internet access. Ideal candidates have expertise in ASL, excellent communication skills, and a background in education. Tutors can create their own schedules, with sessions primarily scheduled in the evenings during the fall and spring semesters. The position pays $14-$16 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be familiar with the Socratic method of tutoring.
• Experience tutoring at the college level is preferred.
• Must be available during specific hours for tutoring sessions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct online tutoring sessions via Upswing's platform.
• Foster independence and critical thinking in students.
• Respond to session requests promptly.

Skills
