Job summary

MedHQ is seeking an ASC Revenue Cycle Manager to lead all revenue cycle functions for a high-volume ambulatory surgery center environment, with emphasis on cardiology service lines and payer contracting nuances.

The ideal candidate brings extensive revenue cycle leadership, strong analytics, and the ability to foster collaboration with physicians and administration to optimize documentation, reimbursement, and operational performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Minimum of five years of progressive revenue cycle management experience.
• In-depth knowledge of cardiology and ASC billing and coding.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with revenue leakage improvements.
• Working knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of billing and coding professionals.
• Develop and monitor KPIs including clean claim rates, denial rates, and days in AR.
• Collaborate with physicians, ASC administration, and clinical leadership.
• Oversee coding and billing for a wide range of procedures in ASC settings.
• Ensure compliance with CMS guidelines, payer policies, and HIPAA.
• Identify workflow bottlenecks and drive data-driven process improvements.
