Job summary

Trustpoint.One in Los Angeles, CA, partners with a large national law firm to recruit multiple legal professionals for a full-time project. Start dates are immediate after background and conflict checks; roles are primarily remote with occasional in-office presence in select metros including Los Angeles.

You will be embedded with litigation teams to support docketing, calendaring, and case management for a high-volume portfolio.

Qualifications

• A Juris Doctor (J.D.) or equivalent paralegal experience.
• 1–2 years of asbestos litigation experience preferred; toxic tort/litigation background acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, review, and interpret incoming case filings to determine deadlines and calendar entries.
• Direct calendaring team to update databases and case trackers with accurate information.
• Perform quality control on calendared work using asbestos/toxic tort knowledge to ensure accuracy and avoid duplicates.
• Review daily docketing reports to keep attorneys informed of new entries and changes.
• Triaging and escalating time-sensitive filings to the appropriate legal team members.
