Job summary

General Atomics is seeking an Arctic Mission Analyst / Forward Deployed AI Engineer to embed full time at NSA Alaska and the 611 AOC. Based in Fort Wainwright, AK, the role develops AI-enabled analytic capabilities within accreditation constraints while maintaining strong government relationships.

The position requires 10+ years in SIGINT/Arctic defense, Python/ML skills, and a TS clearance. Will relocate to Anchorage with travel to remote Alaska sites and CONUS as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of mission experience in SIGINT operations, air operations, or Arctic defense.
• Experience at NSA Alaska or 611 AOC or equivalent operational environment.
• Hands-on Python, APIs, data pipelines, notebooks; AI/ML and LLM tooling in operations.
• Proven track record delivering capability into an operational environment with user adoption.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Willingness to relocate to Anchorage, AK full time with travel to remote sites.
• US citizen; Top Secret clearance (SCI access with CI Poly).

Responsibilities

• Embed full time at NSA Alaska and the 611 AOC as GA-Intelligence’s mission expert.
• Develop, deploy, and sustain AI-enabled analytic capability within the customer environment.
• Use large language models, ML, and automation to accelerate workflows.
• Maintain fluency in local tradecraft and NORAD/USNORTHCOM operations context.
• Translate operator feedback into actionable requirements for engineering.
• Support test, evaluation, and refinement with real-world events.
• Drive user adoption through training and clear communication of capabilities.
• Represent GA-Intelligence’s capabilities to government stakeholders.
