Job summary

Noblis, Inc. is seeking an AI Engineer to work in a mission-focused environment in McLean, Virginia.

You will collaborate with mission users and data engineers to deliver scalable AI capabilities aligned with critical objectives in secure, classified environments. The role covers design and deployment of AI/ML solutions (LLMs, NLP, CV), data ingestion and curation, automated ML pipelines, and ongoing monitoring to ensure reliability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship is required.
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate directly with mission users and stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and translate operational requirements into AI/ML solution designs.
• Design, develop, and deploy production-grade AI solutions including LLMs, NLP, computer vision, and agentic AI in secure environments.
• Partner with data engineers to ingest, transform, and curate complex datasets for training, evaluation, and inference.
• Build and maintain automated ML pipelines using Python with prompt engineering, RAG, fine-tuning, and model evaluation.
• Conduct A/B testing, performance benchmarking, and production monitoring of deployed models.
• Automate analyst workflows by integrating AI tools into mission systems to accelerate data-informed decisions.
• Ensure all AI solutions comply with security protocols and accreditation in sensitive environments.
• Communicate findings, model performance, and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
