Job summary

Worley is seeking a qualified journeyman-level light duty mechanic for a remote Arctic assignment in Prudhoe Bay, Alaska. The role involves maintenance and repair of pickups, crew cabs and larger trucks, with diagnostic work and warranty paperwork.

Expect field and shop duties, use of specialized tools, and adherence to safety and environmental policies. A valid driver’s license and NSTC certification training are preferred; relocation support may be provided.

Qualifications

• Three years’ journeyman-level experience as a light duty mechanic in relevant industries.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to be insured by the company.
• NSTC certification training available through Worley if needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair light duty pickups, crew cabs and larger trucks.
• Operate and inspect vehicles to diagnose defects and complete repairs.
• Perform routine maintenance and diagnostics on trucks and equipment.
• Work in shop or field with required tools and test equipment; document findings.
• Prepare paperwork and describe failures and repairs for warranty purposes.
