Job summary

Allegion is seeking an Architectural Services Consultant – Project Manager to promote door hardware specification services and manage projects from SD to CA, with remote work and occasional on-site visits in the US.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in related fields, a high school diploma (bachelor's preferred), and willingness to travel up to 25%. This role supports territory coverage including NC/SC/VA and remote North Carolina, South Carolina or Virginia.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in project management, architecture, construction management, or door hardware consultancy.
• High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred in Construction Management, PM, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
• Travel up to 25% within territory.
• Basic understanding of security systems integrations and electronic components
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated experience influencing others with a bias for action
• Candidates in Charlotte, NC; Raleigh, NC; Charleston, SC; Norfolk, VA or Remote North Carolina, Remote South Carolina or Remote Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage the project lifecycle, ensuring on-time delivery, within scope and budget while managing risk and ensuring quality control.
• Assist in developing project scope of services and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility in the development of door hardware solutions.
• Promote Allegion brands and architectural services.
• Procure project specification opportunities using industry knowledge and network.
• Utilize relationships and industry expertise to initiate architectural consulting agreements with firms.
• Collaborate closely with the local project sales team on specification projects and market meetings.
• Maintain excellent industry/competitor product knowledge by reviewing market data and adapting to changes.
• Maintain awareness of Allegion policies, guidelines, and procedures and ensure compliance.
