Job summary

Russell + Lopes Architects LLP seeks an Architectural Job Captain to lead construction documents and coordinate consultants for diverse projects. This is a fully remote role open to US-based applicants.

You will collaborate with project architects and managers from design through construction, ensuring design intent and QA/QC across remote teams. A professional architecture degree and 5–8 years of experience are expected, with Revit proficiency.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch).
• 5–8 years of professional experience in architecture with demonstrated Job Captain experience.
• Proficient in Revit; knowledge of AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and other industry tools preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction detailing, building systems, and code compliance.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting while collaborating with a virtual team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and coordination of construction documents and technical drawings.
• Collaborate with Project Architects and Project Managers to ensure design intent is maintained.
• Coordinate consultant documentation, including structural, MEP, and specialty disciplines.
• Manage QA/QC processes to ensure drawing consistency and code compliance.
• Communicate proactively with team members across remote locations.
• Support construction administration as needed (RFIs, submittals, addenda).
