Job summary

Allegion seeks a Specification Consultant to create hardware specs and master specifications for architectural projects. You will review drawings, coordinate with Architectural Services Consultants, and support the sales team with project strategy and changes.

The role requires strong communication, a technical understanding of electro‑mechanical door hardware, and experience with CRM and specification writing software. Remote Texas role with cross‑functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3–10 years industry experience preferred.
• CDT Credential preferred; DHT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create technical hardware sets and specifications for the architectural community, ensuring code compliance for new construction and aftermarket requests.
• Provide solutions to architects on product applications.
• Participate in pre/post installation meetings and coordinate access control.
• Assist with revisions, requests for information, and project communications.
• Maintain awareness of Allegion policies and project data for sales strategy.
