Job summary

YO IT Consulting is seeking an Architect CAD & Construction Documentation specialist for a remote contract role. You will create detailed floor plans and elevation sets based on project requirements and develop comprehensive CAD drawings for architectural, electrical, and PCB layout purposes.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years of experience in architectural CAD and construction documentation, proficiency with 2D/3D CAD tools, GD&T callouts, and the ability to produce multi-sheet

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of recent experience in architectural CAD and construction documentation.
• Proficiency with industry-standard tools for 2D/3D CAD and PCB layout design.
• GD&T callouts and complex schematic diagrams experience.
• Experience developing multi-sheet electrical schematics and PCB layouts.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Advanced English communication.
• Background in collaborating on remote, cross-functional projects.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed floor plans and elevation sets based on project requirements.
• Develop comprehensive CAD drawings for architectural and engineering purposes.
• Prepare accurate Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) callouts for manufacturing documentation.
• Produce and annotate multi-sheet electrical schematics to industry standards.
• Design and review PCB layouts, integrating best practices for manufacturability and functionality.
• Collaborate through exchanges to clarify requirements and resolve technical questions.
• Deliver thorough documentation packages consistent with project milestones and quality expectations.
