Job summary

SaidGig is seeking a remote contract professional to apply architectural CAD and construction documentation expertise. The role focuses on detailed documentation across architectural, engineering, electrical schematic, and PCB-layout work, with no prior AI experience required.

The contractor will create floor plans, develop CAD drawings, prepare GD&T callouts, and deliver multi-sheet electrical schematics and PCB layouts for various projects. Strong English and remote collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of recent experience in architectural CAD and construction documentation.
• Proficiency with industry-standard 2D/3D CAD and PCB-layout tools.
• Ability to create and interpret GD&T callouts and complex schematic diagrams.
• Experience developing multi-sheet electrical schematics and integrating PCB layouts within building projects.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational ability when managing multi-document sets.
• Advanced English communication skills.
• Experience collaborating on remote, cross-functional projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed floor plans and elevation sets based on project requirements.
• Develop comprehensive CAD drawings for architectural and engineering purposes.
• Prepare accurate Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing, GD&T, callouts for manufacturing documentation.
• Produce and annotate multi-sheet electrical schematics to industry standards.
• Design and review PCB layouts using best practices for manufacturability and functionality.
• Collaborate to clarify requirements and resolve technical questions.
• Deliver complete documentation packages that meet project milestones and quality expectations.
