Job summary

Prolific is seeking fluent Arabic speakers to act as evaluators of AI models. This role involves assessing the naturalness and authenticity of Arabic speech by listening to audio clips and completing side-by-side evaluations of text and voice snippets.

The position offers competitive pay between $20 and $26 per hour, flexible hours, and the ability to work from home. Ideal candidates will have a strong command of both Arabic and English along with a keen attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Fluent Arabic speaker with a strong command of everyday Arabic.
• Ability to distinguish subtle differences in accent, tone, and vocal delivery.
• Fluent in English for instruction following and reporting.
• Backgrounds in linguistics or translation are a plus.
• Access to a quiet environment and good quality headphones or speakers.

Responsibilities

• Comparing text and voice snippets to assess quality and authenticity.
• Listening to AI-generated audio and rating how natural the voice sounds.
• Identifying where the AI's tone or pronunciation feels unnatural.
• Identifying whether intonation matches the cultural context.
• Providing feedback on the naturalness, tone, and authenticity of the audio.
