Job summary

Language Services Associates is seeking qualified interpreters to provide on-demand audio and video interpreting for Kurdish, Arabic, or Persian speakers. Interpreters work through a web-based platform, handling calls and ensuring high-quality service while maintaining strict confidentiality.

Contract Interpreters join a network across the United States and must have 1+ years of professional interpreting experience preferred and industry certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Kurdish and Arabic or Persian (speaking and writing).
• Experience with web-based interpreting platforms and basic IT literacy.
• Interpreting space must be quiet, secure, and free from outside noises.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective audio and video interpreting through a web based platform.
• Answer inbound calls promptly and professionally.
• Provide superior customer service to LEP communities.
• Maintain confidentiality per Code of Professional Conduct.
• Follow policies, protocols and industry best practices.
