Job summary

UNM Medical Group, Inc. seeks a full-time Supervisor, Accounts Receivable to oversee cash applications within the Revenue Department. This is a remote position and applicants must have a New Mexico residence or relocate to New Mexico.

The salary ranges from $52,038 to $65,043 annually, with 1.0 FTE. The role requires healthcare cash posting experience, supervisory experience, and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Experience in cash applications in a healthcare setting is required.
• Minimum 3 years of related medical experience with at least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Education and licensure verification may be required if selected.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily cash application operations ensuring compliance with laws and internal policies.
• Supervises staff, allocates work, trains, evaluates performance, and enforces controls.
• Imports deposits/EDI files for automated posting and resolves non-EDI deposits.
• Ensures accurate posting of Insurance and Patient Payments per third-party requirements.
• Monitors posting quality, handles credits/refunds, and responds to inquiries.
