Sarnova is seeking an AR Management Specialist to support insurance and patient billing, ensuring prompt and accurate payment for clients and providers.

You will perform claims research, contact insurers, document activity, and maintain HIPAA compliance, while working in a remote environment. The role emphasizes collaboration across teams, attention to detail, and adherence to guidelines to improve cash flow.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in healthcare claims processing, billing, or accounts receivable.
• Hands-on experience preparing and submitting insurance appeals, including remittance advices and payer denial codes.
• Familiarity with ICD-10, HCPCS, and general medical terminology.
• EMS billing experience preferred; other medical specialties considered.

Mansioni

• Make calls to patients, hospitals, insurers, facilities, and attorneys to research claims or obtain info.
• Contact insurance carriers to inquire about past-due accounts.
• Meet or exceed defined productivity and quality standards.
• Document activity in the claims processing system.
• Follow up on self-pay accounts and establish payment plans as needed.
• Maintain workflow to keep aging accounts at a minimum with daily follow-ups.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and company policies; handle confidential data.
• Perform quality checks on assigned claims and support special projects.
