Prime Intellect, Inc. seeks an Applied Research engineer to own RL programs from ambiguous customer problems through deployed improvements. You will work with customer researchers, engineers, and leaders to translate business goals into measurable experiments and reusable research artifacts.

Responsibilities include turning workflows into environments, evaluations, and baselines; driving post-training experiments, and shaping tools for long-horizon agent systems and deployment outcomes.

Qualifikationen

• Relevant experience: customer-embedded technical work, research engineering, technical founding experience, applied ML consulting with real build ownership, or end-to-end post-training programs.

Aufgaben

• Own RL, distillation, and other post-training experiments tied to deployment outcomes.
• Agent systems that handle tool use, memory, long horizons, and human oversight.
• Deployment and adoption decisions, plus reusable artifacts carried back to Prime's research, engineering, and product teams.
