Job summary

Webscale is seeking an Applied AI Engineer to research and implement GenAI and ML solutions for ecommerce customers. You will collaborate with clients to understand their business needs, design AI components, and deploy systems that deliver measurable value at scale.

Ideal candidates will bridge AI technology and business outcomes, work with a mix of open source and cloud-based tools, and contribute to a fast-moving product platform. This is a fully remote US-based role.

Qualifications

• Experience researching and applying GenAI/ML techniques to real customer problems.
• Ability to design and deliver AI solutions and work directly with customers.
• Strong foundation in data engineering, ETL, and scalable cloud-native architectures.

Responsibilities

• Partner with customers to scope use cases and deploy GenAI/ML solutions.
• Design stateful agents with tool calling, memory, and routing.
• Lead architecture and implementation of AI agents that automate ecommerce workflows.
