Job summary

Chase Plastics Services Inc is seeking a Technical Service / Application Development Engineer to support West Coast OEMs and Tier suppliers. This remote position in Los Angeles focuses on developing new applications and specifying thermoplastic materials from our portfolio.

You will travel to customer sites to troubleshoot processes, provide material recommendations, and collaborate with internal teams to drive successful solutions while aligning with CPS core values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; able to present to customers.
• Experience with plastics materials and processing is preferred.
• Willingness to travel across the USA to support customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide plastics process troubleshooting on-site and remotely.
• Recommend materials and assist in application development.
• Coordinate with TSEs and suppliers to set specifications.
• Support field sales with technical input and show participation in trade shows.
• Travel to customer locations to provide technical support as needed.
