Job summary
BairesDev is seeking a Security Engineer (Application) to safeguard our software at the application layer, integrating security into the development lifecycle from design to deployment.
You will conduct threat modeling, perform secure code reviews, and drive automated testing with SAST/DAST tools like Semgrep, SonarQube, Snyk, and OWASP ZAP.

Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in Application Security, Cybersecurity, or Software Engineering.
- Experience performing threat modeling and secure code reviews based on the OWASP Top 10.
- Hands-on experience with SAST and DAST tools (Semgrep, SonarQube, Snyk, OWASP ZAP).
- Deep understanding of integrating security into the SDLC.
- Advanced English proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Conduct threat modeling early in the design phase.
- Perform secure code reviews to detect flaws and ensure best practices.
- Run automated security tests with SAST/DAST to sustain secure SDLC.
- Collaborate with dev teams to remediate OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities.
- Develop automated security validation tests.
- Promote security-first coding patterns and guide teams.
