Job summary

Carnival Corporation is seeking an Application Security Engineer to build, implement and maintain security controls across global digital platforms in a cloud-based environment. You’ll collaborate with development and operations teams to automate governance, improve security tooling, and enable secure feature delivery for guests.

The role emphasizes hands-on cloud-native security, CI/CD, and container security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or similar.
• Hands-on experience writing software applications, including APIs, web applications, and scripts.
• Threat modeling and adversarial testing of software applications.
• Cloud-native development/operations with CI/CD, cloud compute resources, and containerization.

Responsibilities

• Implement and automate governance processes for application security.
• Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes clusters using IaC.
• Perform security reviews of applications and releases to ensure policy compliance.
• Consult with development teams to test and assess software vulnerabilities from scanners.
