Job summary

Cadre5 is seeking an Application Integration Engineer in the Knoxville, TN area to lead secure integrations, automation, and AI-enabled workflows across multiple platforms. You will work with teams across project leadership, engineering, cybersecurity, identity, vendor, and support to raise reliability and efficiency.

The role supports on-site and telecommute options with occasional travel to the Oak Ridge facility.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field with 4+ years of experience.
Experience designing, implementing, and supporting integrations using REST APIs, webhooks, SDKs or similar.
Experience administering and supporting enterprise SaaS or collaboration platforms in production.
Knowledge of API reliability and identity/access management (SAML, OAuth/OIDC, SSO).
Ability to document technical solutions and communicate with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Provide technical ownership for application architecture, configurations, upgrades, and lifecycle recommendations.
Architect and implement secure integrations using APIs, webhooks, and automation platforms.
Establish reusable standards for authentication, data exchange, error handling, auditing, and reliability.
Evaluate new applications and integration technologies for compatibility with security and architecture standards.
