Lenze Americas is seeking an experienced Application Engineer. This remote role requires residence in GA, TN, NC, or SC with access to a major airport and travel up to 25% for customer support, sales activities, and training.

You will lead solution development in motion control, drive systems, and automation, collaborating closely with Sales to deliver value-driven motion solutions and ensure successful deployments.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechatronics, robotics or mechanical engineering.
• Experience with motion control systems and PLC/HMI programming.
• Proficient in IEC 61131-3 languages and industrial protocols.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% and reside in target U.S. states.

Aufgaben

• Develop system and application solutions, including motion architecture, system topology, and software design.
• Create customer-specific application software and support full project lifecycle (prototype through commissioning).
• Configure and commission drives (VFDs, inverters, servo systems) and develop PLC/HMI programs.
• Support testing, start-up, and field validation of automation solutions.
• Travel up to 25% for customer support, sales activities, and training.
