Job summary

Gainwell Technologies LLC is seeking a Technical Analyst/Advisor Application Architect to support MMIS Medicaid systems and Medicaid Pharmacy environments. You will perform hands-on SQL development, data validation, integration support, and system troubleshooting across key domains, collaborating with BAs, CAs, and QA throughout the SDLC.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Technical Analyst, Data Analyst, or Healthcare Systems Analyst.
• Advanced SQL skills, including complex joins, transformations, large dataset analysis, and stored procedures.
• Experience supporting MMIS, Medicaid, Medicaid Pharmacy systems or similar systems in public health or human services.
• Strong understanding of healthcare data and Medicaid domains (Member, Provider, Claims, Pharmacy, Finance, Care Management).
• Experience with data analysis, troubleshooting, and validating technical outputs.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize complex SQL queries, views, and stored procedures for analysis, configuration validation, reporting, and defect resolution.
• Validate converted and migrated data to ensure accuracy and alignment with business intent; support and validate configuration syncs across environments.
• Translate functional requirements into technical specifications and document data flows, integration logic, and dependencies.
• Support SIT/UAT, parallel testing, and performance testing by validating data and system behavior; assist with test data setup and reconciliation.
• Serve as a technical liaison; document findings, risks, and resolutions; mentor junior analysts on SQL and data standards.
