Job summary

Washington State Health Care Authority seeks a dedicated Apple Health Advisory Committee Coordinator to oversee MAC and LEAP activities. This remote, full-time role guides committee expectations, facilitates engagement with Medicaid clients, and ensures alignment with state and national standards for community involvement.

You will lead meetings, recruit diverse members, coordinate cross-agency experts, and manage high-impact projects to enhance Apple Health services and provider accountability.

Responsibilities

• Consult executive management on MAC and LEAP requests from community members.
• Advise on changes to community engagement standards and 42 CFR § 431.12.
• Develop internal policies for communicating with lived-experience individuals.
• Lead planning, coordination, and facilitation of MAC and LEAP meetings.
• Lead discussions with diverse lived-experience groups and partners.
• Lead recruitment for MAC and LEAP membership with diverse participation.
• Coordinate cross-agency experts to engage with MAC and LEAP.
• Serve as project manager on high-dollar health policy projects.
• Lead internal and statewide workgroups and support external workgroups.
• Facilitate process improvement projects and meetings across the division.
