Job summary

Maximus seeks a highly skilled Technical Lead Appian Developer to drive design, development, and implementation of complex case management and workflow automation in a federal environment. This role is remote and requires an active Public Trust clearance.

You will lead development initiatives, guide small‑to‑medium teams, and integrate AI‑driven capabilities while complying with strict security standards and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field or equivalent professional experience.
• 7+ years Appian development experience using Appian 17.x or later.
• 3+ years in a technical lead or senior developer capacity leading teams.
• Experience delivering mission-critical applications in federal or regulated environments.
• Experience or interest in integrating AI into business processes and Appian AI.
• Proficient in SQL and Oracle database solutions.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
• Strong Agile software development experience.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain Public Trust clearance.
