Job summary

Forge Group, LLC is seeking an (Mid) Appian Developer to support an Agile delivery team in a secure DoW environment. You will design Appian records, interfaces, rules, and processes, validate work, and support controlled releases while collaborating with mission, data, security, and quality personnel.

You will translate stories into technical designs, configure secure data access, and develop REST integrations, with a focus on maintainability and testability across environments.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional IT experience with hands-on Appian development
• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/Engineering or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu
• Experience with Appian records, SAIL, expression rules, process models, and integrations
• Experience with REST, JSON, and secure integration practices
• Experience with Git-based delivery and CI/CD concepts
• Active CompTIA Security+ or equivalent DoD baseline cybersecurity certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
• Active Tier 2 background investigation or higher within past 18 months

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Appian record types, SAIL interfaces, expression rules, and process models
• Translate user stories into maintainable Appian designs and features
• Configure data access, groups, and security per established patterns
• Develop and troubleshoot REST integrations and data-validation logic
• Create reusable components and maintain coding standards
• Develop unit tests and support automated UI and integration testing
• Peer reviews, defect resolution, and log analysis
• Prepare application packages and coordinate configuration values for deployments
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with product owners and analysts
• Maintain technical documentation and comply with DoD security and change-management requirements
