Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an App Security Expert to strengthen application security by designing tests and evaluating vulnerabilities in traditional and AI-powered applications, with a focus on LLM security and sensitive data handling. This remote role requires hands-on security engineering and precise documentation.

You will develop deterministic test cases, reference solutions, and evaluation frameworks, and collaborate with distributed security specialists to advance AI-powered security analysis

Qualifications

• 5+ years in application security or related field.
• OSWE-level concepts and advanced testing knowledge.
• Experience with AI-SAST and automated code analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement fixtures with representative vulnerabilities and secure implementations (OWASP focus).
• Develop realistic test scenarios for LLM security concerns (sensitive data disclosure, excessive agency).
• Create deterministic test cases and security-context manifests for consistent evaluation.
• Develop reference solutions and hidden answer keys for AI systems and scanners evaluation.
• Assess and refine testing pipelines to be realistic, reproducible, and challenging.
• Build and secure application codebases, identify advanced vulnerabilities, implement remediation.
• Contribute to security architectures for traditional apps and agent-based systems.
• Apply AI-powered static testing and LLM security to improve detection methodologies.
• Document findings, approaches, and remediation recommendations clearly.
• Collaborate with distributed teams and provide constructive technical feedback.
• Support improvement of evaluation pipelines by identifying weaknesses and proposing enhancements.
