Job summary

micro1 is seeking an App Security Expert on a remote contractor basis to contribute to a customer project focused on real-world application security. You will apply your domain knowledge to help train next-generation AI systems, shaping how models learn, reason, and perform with high-quality inputs.

You will design and implement small fixtures with embedded security vulnerabilities or secure solutions, addressing OWASP LLM risks and developing deterministic test cases and hidden answer keys for

Qualifications

• 5+ years in application security or CyberSWE roles.
• Knowledge of OSWE, LLM security and AI-powered static analysis.
• Experience designing security architecture for apps.
• Strong written and verbal communication for technical docs.
• Experience with synthetic security fixtures and deterministic testing is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement small, secure or vulnerable app fixtures addressing OWASP LLM risks.
• Develop deterministic test cases and security-context manifests.
• Create hidden answer keys for AI or scanner evaluation.
• Evaluate and iterate pipeline methodologies for challenging yet realistic tasks.
• Document insights and share findings clearly.
• Collaborate through clear written and verbal communication.
• Engage with agent-based security architecture and improve evaluation pipeline.
