Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced API Solutions Architect for a 100% remote role in the United States. You will lead the design and evolution of large-scale microservices on cloud-native stacks, with deep expertise in service decomposition, domain-driven design, and distributed data management.

This senior role requires mentoring engineers, establishing API contracts, CI/CD standards, and secure, scalable architectures.

Formación

• Eight or more years of software engineering experience, with several years in architecture roles.
• Deep expertise in microservices design, domain-driven design, and distributed patterns.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, container orchestration, and service mesh technologies.
• Proficiency in Java, Go, or C# and API design knowledge.
• Experience operating high-traffic, latency-sensitive systems in production.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Define microservices architecture standards, service boundaries, and decomposition strategies aligned with domain-driven design principles.
• Lead modernization of legacy monoliths into independently deployable services with clear ownership.
• Design service communication patterns using REST, gRPC, asynchronous messaging, and event streaming.
• Architect resilient distributed systems with circuit breakers, retries, bulkheads, and graceful degradation.
• Define data ownership models and patterns such as outbox, saga, and CQRS.
• Lead platform capabilities including service mesh, API gateway, identity propagation, and observability.
• Drive performance engineering, capacity planning, and scalability analysis.
• Establish CI/CD and testing standards optimized for high-frequency releases.
• Define observability standards with structured logging, tracing, and SLO-driven monitoring.
• Collaborate with security teams to embed zero-trust, secrets management, and runtime protection.
• Mentor engineers and tech leads on best practices; lead architecture reviews across teams.
• Continuously evaluate emerging cloud-native technologies for maturity and fit.
