AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Senior FinOps Analyst to guide engineering teams on cloud costs and optimization. The role requires aligning APAC business hours with PST and CST overlap and strong written communication for stakeholder reporting.

You will partner with R&D teams to forecast, monitor spend, and provide actionable cost opportunities. This is a hybrid role with both remote and office options supporting a US-based workforce.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of FinOps experience.
• Strong cloud cost management and optimization expertise.
• Proven ability to investigate spend anomalies and produce root-cause analyses.
• Experience advising R&D/engineering teams.
• Cloud cost forecasting and aligning forecasts with team projections.
• OpenAI/LLM cost drivers and monitoring spend.
• Cost modeling and tracking for teams and projects.
• Proficiency with Jira and Slack for documentation and support.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for R&D teams seeking cloud cost guidance via Slack and other channels.
• Engage APAC-based colleagues to review monthly cloud spending and surface cost opportunities; document meeting notes and recommendations.
• Monitor cloud/AI spend for anomalies and investigate variances; deliver root-cause analyses and optimization recommendations via Jira tickets.
• Participate in monthly forecasting with assigned R&D teams and document spend plans.
• Contribute to showback reporting with AI/LLM cost driver insights and cost data understanding.
• Support Cost Awareness/Education efforts and maintain the wiki.
• Model team cost projections and respond to inquiries via Slack, email, and other channels.
