Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Economics, Education, or a related field.
• A minimum of 2 years of K-12 teaching experience.
• Experience teaching AP Microeconomics and/or AP Macroeconomics.
• Strong knowledge of the College Board AP Economics curriculum and exam requirements.
• Experience as an AP Reader is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to implement interactive and engaging teaching methods in an online environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A strong commitment to student learning and success.
• An understanding and appreciation of cultural diversity in the classroom.
• Experience in creating learning materials and curriculum design is a plus.
• Availability during our peak time window (5-7 AM Eastern Time, 4-10 PM Eastern Time, or weekends).

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning.
• Provide a variety of learning materials and resources for use in educational activities.
• Prepare students for AP Economics examinations.
• Evaluate students' performance and development.
• Assign and grade classwork, homework, tests, and assignments.
• Provide appropriate and constructive feedback on student work.
• Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students.
• Manage student behavior in the virtual classroom by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures.
