Varsity Tutors, a Nerdy Company, is seeking an AP Macroeconomics tutor to join its Live Learning Platform as an independent contractor. You’ll set your own schedule, teach students remotely, and earn competitive rates up to $40/hour. You’ll be paid up to twice per week as you invoice for sessions conducted.

Our platform matches tutors with students and provides AI-powered Copilot support to help craft lessons and save prep time, enabling impactful, flexible teaching from home.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of AP Macroeconomics concepts and exam prep.
• Ability to explain GDP, supply/demand, policy tools, and graphs.
• Familiarity with AP Macroeconomics curriculum and common student challenges.

Responsibilities

• Tutor online 1-on-1 sessions via the Varsity Tutors platform.
• Respond to on-demand tutoring requests and plan lessons.
• Incorporate the Tutor Copilot tools to enhance instruction.
