Job summary

BCD Meetings & Events (BCD M&E) in India is seeking an Accountant - Payables for the AP function across our global operations. The role is remote, full-time, and focuses on day-to-day accounting, AP reconciliations, and timely reporting.

You will work with ERP systems including SAP and MS Excel, collaborate across departments, and support year-end close. A college degree in accounting with finance exposure and strong English communication are required.

Qualifications

• College degree in accounting with finance exposure or equivalent experience.
• Several years of experience in general accounting.
• Proficiency with ERPs, word processing, and spreadsheets (MS Excel) required.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Manage and reconcile accounts payable processes.
• Prepare timely monthly reports and follow up on aged items.
• Review and maintain AP Purchase Orders.
• Ensure month-end checklist items are processed accurately; support year-end closing related to AP.
• Provide ad hoc research and reporting for Supervisors, Managers, Directors, and regional finance teams.
• Assist in audits related to accounts payable functions.
