Labela is seeking U.S.-based Anesthesiologists at every career stage for a flexible, remote role. You will validate, refine, and audit clinical reasoning of frontier AI models, acting as a subject matter expert in anesthesia for high-level clinical consulting.

The engagement runs July 30 to August 31, 2026, with priority given to candidates based in California while remaining remote across the United States.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Anesthesiology (ABA) or senior resident/fellow (PGY-2+)
• 2+ years of postgraduate clinical training
• U.S. citizenship required
• Ability to provide concise, technical feedback on complex clinical cases

Responsibilities

• Clinical Logic Auditing: Review and refine AI-generated diagnostic and treatment strategies to ensure alignment with ASA standards.
• High-Complexity Validation: Provide expert-level ground truth for intricate perioperative and anesthetic case presentations, airway assessment, and hemodynamic management.
• Safety Oversight: Identify clinical inaccuracies or hallucinations in AI outputs that could impact patient safety or triage decisions.
• Strategic Consulting: Advise on the development of AI-driven clinical decision support tools for perioperative and anesthetic care.
