Job summary

Trellix is seeking an experienced Solution Consultant to support an Android reverse engineering program. You will analyze Android apps and SDKs to uncover security risks, perform static and dynamic analyses, and collaborate with researchers to improve secure applications.

Responsibilities include decompilation, debugging and identifying data leakage or malicious code. The role emphasizes collaboration, threat intelligence, and building secure ecosystems across projects.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience in Android development, reverse engineering, or security testing.
• Hands-on experience analyzing malicious Android apps or SDKs.
• Strong knowledge of static and dynamic analysis techniques.
• Proficient with reverse engineering tools such as Jadx, Ghidra, Frida, IDA Pro, and Burp Suite.

Responsibilities

• Deep-dive analysis of Android apps and SDKs to understand codebase, architecture and risks.
• Apply advanced reverse engineering techniques including decompilation, disassembly and debugging.
• Identify user, device, and data risks within apps and SDKs.
• Gather, analyze and report threat intelligence related to Android malware and exploits.
• Collaborate with researchers, developers and stakeholders to share findings and improve security.
