Job summary

ImagineX is seeking an Android Architect for a remote role in the US. You will lead design of scalable Android architectures, and collaborate across backend, design, and AI teams to define system integrations and API contracts.

Daily mob-programming sessions drive clarity and architectural integrity. You should bring extensive Kotlin expertise, coroutine/flow mastery, and experience with large Kotlin applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar.
• Extensive Kotlin expertise with coroutines and flows; async programming.
• Experience designing large-scale Kotlin apps in production.
• Ability to write idiomatic, testable Kotlin code with modern practices.
• Familiar with Kotlin ecosystem: Ktor, Kotlinx, Gradle DSL.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, modular Android architectures with strong technical leadership.
• Collaborate with backend, design, and AI teams on system integrations and APIs.
• Lead daily mob-programming sessions and review code for architecture.
• Translate business requirements into engineering plans and prototypes.
• Oversee evolution of enterprise Android codebases for reliability and performance.
