Aufgaben

• Performs continual visual and digital 2-way audio surveillance of up to twelve (12) patients on up to three (3) monitors with observation software.
• Communicates with clinical team based on observation feedback and awaits replacement before vacating the monitoring station.
• Documents patient activity and communications in the electronic medical record per policy.
• During bedside monitoring, remains at the bedside unless relieved by a staff member.
• Completes hourly rounding log for assigned patient for in-person duty.
• During remote monitoring, redirects the patient to avoid at-risk behavior and notifies nursing staff as needed.
• Identifies and reports patient safety issues and environmental hazards.
• Provides thorough hand-off report using standardized EMR for transfer of duties.
• Assists with patient care as delegated by supervising RN and removes hazards from patient environment.
