Job summary

Motion Recruitment Partners LLC is seeking an Analytics Migration Engineer to migrate legacy analytics environments to Google Cloud Platform with a focus on BigQuery. The role includes supporting data pipelines, reporting, and automation initiatives in a remote setting.

You will be at the heart of a major cloud transformation, working alongside experienced data engineers to ensure business-critical analytics remain operational during migration.

Qualifications

Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform, especially BigQuery.
Experience migrating legacy analytics environments (on-prem, cloud).
Proficiency in SQL, Python, and/or SAS.
Hands-on experience with Excel automation (VBA, macros, or advanced formulas).
Experience validating data outputs and ensuring data accuracy.
Strong understanding of ETL processes and data pipelines.

Responsibilities

Lead migration of analytics workloads to Google Cloud BigQuery.
Validate data outputs and ensure accuracy throughout the migration.
Develop Excel automation for reporting and validation.
Collaborate with data engineers and analytics professionals.
Document processes and support enterprise-scale analytics environments.
