Motion Recruitment Partners LLC is seeking an Analytics Migration Engineer to lead the migration of analytical code, data pipelines, and models from on‑prem to GCP across data science, analytics, and data engineering teams. The role focuses on validating continuity of outputs, dashboards, and AI/ML models during migration.

The ideal candidate will have SAS 9.4, SAS Viya, Python, SQL, and cloud experience (GCP/AWS/Azure), with strong ETL and data accuracy skills for a hybrid work setup in

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or technical field.
• Experience with SAS 9.4, SAS Viya, Python, and SQL.
• Experience with cloud data platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure) or supporting on-prem to cloud migrations.
• Experience with BigQuery and validating data outputs, dashboards, and statistical or ML models.
• Strong understanding of data structures, ETL, and analytical workflows.
• Experience troubleshooting data discrepancies and performing root cause analysis.
• Ability to work across cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and quality.

Responsibilities

• Migrate legacy analytical code (SAS, SQL, Python) and data pipelines from on‑prem to GCP, refactoring for modern cloud architecture.
• Validate and reconcile outputs between legacy and cloud environments for consistency and accuracy.
• Perform regression testing and QA across datasets, dashboards, and models to ensure functional parity post‑migration.
• Support migration and re-platforming of AI/ML and statistical models, troubleshooting discrepancies.
• Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, and business teams to maintain continuity of reporting during migration.
• Build automated testing, monitoring, and validation processes for long‑term data/model integrity.
• Document migration processes, code changes, and best practices for repeatable frameworks.
