Cenergy International is seeking a Fixed-term Analytics Engineer to restore reliability for reporting pipelines and ensure cost reporting remains reconciled as product types evolve. You will diagnose broken data flows, migrate alerts, and implement freshness checks while delivering runbooks and weekly updates.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in analytics or data engineering, strong SQL on distributed engines, Python with pandas, and Airflow experience.

Formación

• 3+ years in analytics or data engineering with ownership of production pipelines
• Proficient SQL on distributed engines such as Trino/Presto
• Proficient in Python and pandas for data processing and validation
• Experience building and maintaining scheduled workflows in Airflow or similar
• Working knowledge of Tableau published data sources and Tableau extracts
• Comfort with git and pull-request workflows
• Ability to debug pipelines not originally built and maintain clear docs

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose and repair a backlog of stalled or broken data pipelines feeding reporting dashboards.
• Replace drop-and-recreate table builds with in-place writes to preserve access permissions.
• Migrate workflow alerts off deprecated settings and route to a team distribution list.
• Inventory BI data sources, including Tableau sources and embedded SQL, to identify duplicate logic and confirm downstream consumers.
• Retire unused workflows and tables via staged process: verify no consumers, disable for one billing cycle, then remove.
• Implement dashboard freshness and staleness checks for data extracts.
