Job summary

Coinbase is hiring an Analytics Engineer to join the GFCO Analytics Engineering team and build the data foundations that power customer experience and compliance operations. You will own end-to-end data pipelines, develop trusted metrics, and enable CX stakeholders to make faster, better decisions with clean, reliable data.

This is a high-impact role where you'll directly influence how we serve and protect our customers while scaling our analytics capabilities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in analytics/data engineering or related role with hands-on pipeline work.
• Proficient in SQL and modern data stack tools (dbt, Airflow) and cloud warehouses.
• Experience modeling data (dimensional, star/snowflake) and delivering trusted data products.
• Experience in BI dashboards (Looker, Tableau) and self-serve analytics.
• Strong ability to partner with non-technical stakeholders to translate needs.
• Use of generative AI with human oversight to improve workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own data models and pipelines for CX operations, compliance, and insights.
• Partner with CX Operations, Compliance, and Product to translate needs into data requirements.
• Build dashboards, metrics, and reporting tools for CX performance and compliance health.
• Drive data quality and governance with testing, monitoring, and documentation.
• Identify opportunities to automate recurring data workflows and self-serve solutions.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering and Analytics teams to share best practices.
