Job summary

Workato is seeking an Analytics Engineer to own end-to-end data products within the Product Management team. You will design, develop, and scale robust data models to provide reliable product usage data, partnering with Data Engineers, Product Analysts, and business stakeholders.

The role emphasizes transforming raw data into actionable insights to drive strategic product and business decisions, with a focus on technical excellence and platform optimization.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Analytics Engineering or Data Warehousing.
• Expert proficiency in SQL, including window functions and query optimization.
• dbt (Data Build Tool) expertise with modern cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery).
• Apply data engineering best practices: version control, modular coding, automated testing.
• Strong data modeling knowledge (star/snowflake, Slowly Changing Dimensions).
• Python or another scripting language required.
• Experience with data orchestration tools (Airflow, Dagster).
