Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a strategic AML technology modernization initiative. The role will manage migration of a legacy on-prem AML platform to SAS Viya and oversee all phases from planning through post-implementation stabilization.

Candidates must have regulated industry delivery experience, strong stakeholder and vendor management, and knowledge of AML, financial crimes, data analytics platforms, and cloud transformations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of project management experience leading complex enterprise technology initiatives.
• Experience in financial services or regulated industries.
• Proficient in Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid delivery.
• Experience with budgets, vendor contracts, and executive reporting.
• Certifications such as PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or Scrum.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end AML platform modernization from initiation to production.
• Develop project plans, schedules, milestones, and roadmaps.
• Establish governance and reporting structures for stakeholders.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across AML Operations, Compliance, Risk, Technology, Data, Infrastructure, Security, Architecture, QA, and Vendors.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and change requests.
• Oversee vendor management and implementation partners to meet schedule and quality goals.
• Ensure regulatory alignment and successful transition to operations.
