Job summary

Yorktown Systems Group is seeking a part-time Amharic Language Instructor to deliver eMentor courses supporting the Language Enabled Airman Program. The instructor will help enhance service members' language skills in a flexible, globally distributed format while focusing on cultural understanding.

Qualified candidates must have an advanced proficiency in the target language and a bachelor's degree in language instruction or a related field. Additional qualifications include strong knowledge of instructional design and teaching techniques.

Qualifications

• Must possess strong language skills with an ILR Advanced Professional Proficiency rating.
• Bachelor's degree in language instruction or a related social science field required.
• Extensive knowledge of foreign language teaching techniques and learning theories.

Responsibilities

• Administer eMentor curricula and prepare instructional aids.
• Develop instructional content in alignment with industry best practices.
• Deliver instruction focusing on cultural and mission-relevant content.

Skills

Language skills equivalent to ILR Advanced Professional Proficiency

Experience in foreign language teaching techniques
