Job summary

Twilio is seeking a Carrier Deal Desk Manager, AMER (Commercial Finance). You will lead financial assessment of carrier supplier negotiations and wholesale trading transactions, shape deal structures, and deliver clear recommendations to executives.

You’ll partner with Carrier Relations to own deal economics, mitigate risk, and ensure approval quality. You will build models, set guardrails, and drive cross-functional alignment across Finance and Commercial teams, translating analysis into action

Qualifications

• 8+ years in commercial/strategic finance or related analytical roles.
• Strong ability to model, test assumptions, and assess risk.
• Experience leading financial strategy for high-stakes vendor negotiations.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and move decisions.
• Experience setting analytical standards and approval processes.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or similar enterprise workflows; Oracle is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial diligence for carrier agreements and wholesale transactions in AMER.
• Build and review deal models; advise on structures and guardrails.
• Collaborate with Carrier Relations, Routing Ops, and others to finalize decisions.
• Establish and maintain financial guardrails and approval standards.
• Track commitments post-signature and identify emerging exposure.
• Identify recurring themes and translate into policy and strategy.
• Coach analysts and partner with Finance Director on operations.
