Remote Ambulatory Triage RN — Primary Care Support

Job summary

Indiana University Health is seeking an experienced RN to join the Ambulatory Triage team in a fully remote role. The position requires 3–5 years of RN experience, ambulatory experience preferred, and ED experience a plus. You will assess symptoms, guide care, and coordinate appropriate levels of care for adult patients from a busy primary care call center.

Three full-time day shifts are available, with schedules between 7:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Requires Basic Life Support (BLS) through the AHA.
• ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Active RN license in Indiana or NLC RN license.
• Ambulatory/primary care experience preferred.
• Ability to coordinate multiple patient functions in a remote call center.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient symptoms and provide evidence-based care guidance.
• Coordinate appropriate levels of care for patients.
• Support primary care practices across the West Region.
• Operate effectively in a remote, high-volume clinical call center environment.
