Job summary

The University of New Mexico is seeking a Recruitment Coordinator (Work Study) for the JAG-NM program. You will recruit recent and past JAG-NM graduates to join the Career Alumni Association, maintain relationships, and support college alumni events.

This remote, part-time position offers flexible hours (10–20 per week) and valuable nonprofit experience in administration, communications, and event planning while helping students succeed.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a degree seeking program at UNM.
• Enrolled at least half-time (6 hours) at UNM for fall and spring semesters.
• Must be eligible for Federal Work-Study funding.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular communication with JAG-NM alumni through email, phone, and social media.
• Recruit JAG-NM alumni to join NM-JAG CAAN.
• Assist with planning and coordinating alumni events, networking opportunities, and recognition activities.
• Update alumni contact information and engagement records.
• Collect alumni success stories for newsletters, reports, grant applications, and marketing materials.
• Support graduating participants as they transition into the JAG-NM Alumni Network.
• Prepare communications, newsletters, and assist with social media content.
