Job summary

United Airlines is seeking a Production Controller to coordinate all EBU activities from a production perspective and provide daily PPS updates on engine/APU status, service and parts shortages.

You will act as liaison with Engineering, ensure SOPs are followed, and drive improvements in current procedures while handling daily actions and ad‑hoc operational issues within a diverse, global airline environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience coordinating production activities preferred.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all EBU activities from a production perspective to meet operational requirements.
• Provide an interface between the lighting company planning and the EBU office.
• Deliver daily PPS updates for engine/APU status, service and parts shortages.
• Print, distribute and review engine service packages and report missing parts.
• Act as a liaison with Engineering for issues/diagnoses.
• Inform EBU management of daily work requirements and day changes.
• Ensure EBU SOPs are followed during operations.
• Lead within the EBU to address the needs of the fire industry’s strategy and working conditions.
• Provide applicants with status updates and information (registration, maintenance, changes, plans, engineering).
• Assist the EBU supervisor and identify improvements to procedures.
• Handle daily actions and ad-hoc reactions to operational issues.
