Job summary

Advent is seeking an Operations Research Technical Reviewer to support statistical analyses on Air Force health data at Wright Patterson AFB, OH (Remote). You will design studies, build datasets with SAS EG, and develop models under government oversight.

The role requires advanced statistics expertise, deep healthcare or military experience, and NDA compliance. Expect collaboration across interdisciplinary teams and routine data-access governance responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Biostatistics, Statistics, or Operations Research.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in the field.
• Current HIPAA training with the ability to access and process identified medical data.
• Advanced knowledge of statistical analysis, study design, and study execution.
• Ability to provide a signed NDA prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expertise supporting statistical analyses related to Air Force accession conditions and long-term outcomes.
• Perform statistical analyses of existing datasets and develop datasets using SAS Enterprise Guide.
• Scope, design, manage, and monitor analytical projects with timelines and milestones.
• Develop stratification methodologies using ICD codes and relevant criteria.
• Develop and support statistical models evaluating relationships in Air Force health data.
• Validate models and assist with troubleshooting and improvements.
• Draft technical communications and analytical documentation for stakeholders.
• Present study findings at meetings and government forums.
• Obtain and maintain required data access permissions.
