Job summary

Brunel is partnering with DataAnnotation to connect experienced Electrical and Electronics Engineers with an AI training program. Selected experts will contribute hands-on engineering expertise to evaluate and improve how AI models handle real circuit and electronics work.

This opportunity is designed for practicing engineers who design, simulate, and debug real hardware across analog, RF, and mixed-signal domains.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English (native or bilingual).
• 2+ years of industry experience in circuit or electronics engineering.
• Background in electrical/electronics engineering or related discipline.
• Strong command of circuit analysis and design tradeoffs.
• Ability to articulate why an answer is wrong, not just that it is.
• Working comfort with AI tools or ability to pick them up quickly.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Design challenging, realistic engineering problems from your practice.
• Run problems through frontier AI models and judge the output to professional standards.
• Compare two model versions on identical prompts and assess performance.
• Critique model-generated derivations and write the reasoning behind your call.
• Flag concrete failures with evidence: wrong assumptions, sign errors, unphysical results.
• Contribute across analog, RF and mixed-signal circuits, electromagnetics and antennas, control and systems, power and energy.
